Islamabad: Minister for Commerce Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan says a few thousand people cannot be allowed to trample the mandate of tens of millions of people.
He said all just and constitutional demands of Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri have been accepted.
Khurram Dastgir said peaceful protest is the right of everyone, but no one will be allowed to challenge the writ of the state.
He said activists of PTI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek should avoid attacking state institutions during their protests.
The Minister said the government desires to settle all issues through dialogue and is exercising restraint in response to provocations by the protesters.
He said unjust sit-ins are not only damaging image of the country abroad, but has also harmed the national economy.
