KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar on Monday said that doctors should benefit the poor patients with their qualifications and experience because government is spending billions of rupees in health sector.
This he said during a personal hearing of doctors who have remained absent from their duties. About 35 doctors were given notices for personal hearing; however, out of them, 28 failed to comply with the order. He said that those who had failed to obey the orders may be terminated from their jobs.
Mehtab while giving strict warning to absent doctors, said that those who were found guilty in performing their duties would be taken to task. He said that doctors should improve their performance because medical profession is a service to the suffering humanity.
