Peshawar: The registered Afghan refugees living in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while expressing concern over crack down against registered Afghan Refugees said are they are ready to return back however Islamabad and Kabul with consultation of UNHCR, should devise joint comprehensive strategy for voluntarily repatriation to their country.
Speaking at a news conference here at press club here on Monday, Afghan Refugees Muttahida Al Shora president, Baryale Miankhel said irrespective of Registration government has started action against Afghan Refugees without any discrimination of POR holder or non-holders of PORs.
Accompanied by the Shora members, Mahmooda Gul, Bahadur Khna, Muhammad Noor Ahmadzai, Haji Ahmad Jan, he said that Afghan Refugees are very grieved over the killing of innocent children in Army Public School but without proper arrangements their expulsion from Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.
Miankhel said that the registered Afghan refugees’ mostly living residing outside their camps, and they have rented houses at different parts of KP but now owners of houses have asked them to vacate these houses.
“We strongly condemn killing of innocent children of Army Public School in a terrorists attack but this is not justifible to target Registered Afghan Refugees” he said.
Abdul Hamid Khalili urged government of KP to abide tri-partite agreement, signed by Islamabad, Kabul and UNCHR regarding, stay of Afghan Refugees in Pakistan.
