KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) organized a condolence meeting in London to pay homage to the martyrs of Safoora Chowrangi tragedy.
The MQM UK’s Senior Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat, other committee members and office-bearers and workers attended the programme. The participants lit candles in memory of the martyrs.
Speaking on the occasion, Nusrat said that Safoora tragedy was a black page in the history of Pakistan. Terrorists have set the worst example of brutality by targeting innocent people, including women and children, of a peaceful community who were travelling in a bus.
Nusrat expressed solidarity with the Ismaili community and demanded immediate arrest of the terrorists involved in the incident.
