KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqi has written a letter to the Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, referring his telephonic conversation regarding the issues about the participation of number of teams from Karachi in domestic tournaments as well as friction between certain persons of the Pakistan Cricket Board and Karachi City Cricket Association.
He said that as he discussed the whole environment is aligned to bring about law and order and peace in the country. Karachi peace has extreme importance and the government is removing causes of grievances of people in various areas to support the efforts for establishments of peace and order. In this context, it is essential that settled issues are not disturbed which may give chance of resentment to various sections of society leading to protest.
He suggested that the number of teams for Karachi may not be reduced and the issues with the Karachi City Cricket Association may be settled with logic and reason
