Call to streamline traffic in Larkana


LARKANA: Worst traffic jams has become routine matter as traffic cops usually seen busy taking bribe from motorcycle and rickshaw drivers, while buffaloes are also seen roaming in the morning on city’s main roads.

The roads include VIP, Lahori Mohalla, Jinnah Bagh Roundabout, Bakrani, Empire, High Court, Chandka Bridge, and Rice Canal Bypass roads leading to Naundero, Al-Murtaza House and other localities due to which traffic remains jammed and there seems nobody to control it.

During morning time so many people and students have to reach their destinations. Worst affected is the area near Brohi railway crossing which always remains locked during peak hours in the morning and afternoon almost daily. People keep on informing through their cell phones to Jahangir Base (SSP office) to help them restore the roads so that they can reach to their respective offices. Traffic cops have been seen minting money individually without any authority.

The citizens have appealed to the relevant authorities to pay heed to traffic probles and rid them of it so that they could take a sigh of relief.
