KARACHI: Pakistan’s leading online vehicle marketplace, Carmudi brought smiles to Karachiites by entertaining children with the simplest of things…balloons. The Carmudi team celebrated Chaand Raat at the busiest car parks in Karachi and spread happiness amongst busy shoppers and their families.
In line with the spirit of Ramadan of giving and sharing, Carmudi distributed Eid gifts around Agha’s Supermarket in the form of Shalwar Kurtas so as to share with underprivileged families the joy of wearing new clothes on the Festival of Eid. Swarms of shoppers were instantaneously attracted towards the crowd gathered around the Carmudi team giving out free balloons, Eidi and Eid cards. Carmudi brought people from all walks of life together as they rejoiced the simple happiness that comes from watching children playing with balloons. The team also opened its last fast along with the car cleaners working on the streets on Chaand Raat, thus creating a sense of unity and happiness by sharing this joyous night with them.
Managing Director of Carmudi Pakistan, Raja Murad Khan said “We wanted to do more, engage a larger part of society and have fun along the way this Chaand Raat. Our goal was to put a smile on people’s faces by sharing the joy that we deem is only multiplied when shared”
We loved the reactions of some of our happy parents: “All we see are these blue branded balloons everywhere – they’re in every kid’s hand, every parent is asking for them – that’s consumer engagement at its best, making everyone talk about your brand and celebrating their happiness around it, that too at no cost! Today everyone here is celebrating Eid with Carmudi!”
“When I came here my daughter asked me for a blue balloon that almost every kid was holding. Sadly, by that time all the balloons had run out with the people who were giving them out for free. Then I saw that almost every car had a balloon strung around its side mirror. I’m not ashamed to admit that I took one off a car and gave it to my daughter. She was entertained by it throughout the night. Thank you Carmudi for keeping our kids entertained while we enjoyed Chand Raat in peace!”
