QUETTA: Martyrs of August 8 have written a history. Coward terrorists targeted innocent children. Terrorism is conspiracy to weaken Pakistan. If we allowed this to succeed we would give nothing to our new generations. This country was achieved with sacrifices. Numerous people rendered homeless and martyred during creation of this country. Enemy does not want Pakistan should be prosper after disintegration and should be a peaceful country.
These views were expressed by Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan Saqib Nisar while addressing condolence reference about Quetta incident of August 8 at Balochistan High Court here Tuesday.
Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Yahya Afridi, Chief Justice Balochistan High Court Mohammad Noor Muskanzai, President BHC Bar Association Shah Mohammad Jatoi and Secretary General Attaullah Langav also spoke on the occasion.
Judges of Supreme court Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Chief Justice Gilgit Baltistan Justice Rana Mohammad Shaheen and others renowned lawyer Asma Jahangir were also present.
Chief Justice of Pakistan said he finds no words to condolence and condemn civil hospital incident. Martyrs wrote a history. Coward terrorists targeted innocent people. Quetta incident was not a n incident. In Peshawar innocent children were martyred. We cannot forget those departed us. Country was not achieved without sacrifices. A lot of people were martyred and rendered homeless. He said terrorism is conspiracy to weaken Pakistan and depriving of peace. If we allowed this conspiracy to succeed we would not give anything to our coming generations.
Chief Justice said we have to fight this war with courage. We have not to become weak due to this war and has to fight as one nation and everyone has to pay its part. When justice comes to the judiciary it has also to play its part.
He said situation is the country is not normal. It is collective responsibility in which everyone has to play its role. It is good that there is reduction in terrorism to some extent.
He said for making security of courts there is need for comprehensive strategy and developing it on modern lines and we are in contact with Ministry of interior in this regard.
Justice Saqib Nisar said there is need of time and hard work for meeting shortage of bar following Quetta bar. He said after Quetta a tragic incident took place in Peshawar in which innocent children were martyred. He said enemy does not want Pakistan should be able to prosper and progress but we have to fight with great courage to end terrorism.
He said he assured families of all martyred that we share their grief and pray may Allah place them in eternal peace and grant patience to their relatives.[related_post themes="text" id="318781"]
