QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has said that opportunities made available in the face of CPEC for development, end of poverty and increase in employment these should be fully utilized and all concerned departments should make full preparations in this regard

He was addressing a high level meeting to review matters relating to Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA) here Tuesday.

Chief Secretary Aurang ZEb Haq, Additional Chie fSecretary Planning an dDevelopment Dr Omar Babar, Secretary Finance Akbar Durrnai also attended.

Secretary Labour and Manpower Pasand Khan Buledi briefed the meeting in detail about BTEVA.

He said planning has been made for preparing technical manpower according to CPEC projects and international market including building, engineering, tourism, information technology, Revenue and health sectors experts alogn with skilled and semi skilled labour. Employment cell would also be established for providing employmen to skilled people.

Meeting accorded approval for converting Technical Training Centres Quetta and Hub to Centres of Excellence.

Chief Minister said in the past in absence of proper planning and development projects limiting to statement and papers results of true development could not reach the people.

He directed for fully functioning TEVTA by taking concrete measures and giving autonomy to the institution and filing summary of suggestions for resolving financial problems and recommendations.

He said Baochistna is rich in natural resources, unique geographical and long coast area which its improtnac ehas increased due to CPEC. If we failed to provide development to our people and province it would be bad luck. He desired that results of all this shodl reach to the people and properity coems to their lives.
