QUETTA: Balochistan Chie Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has directed Communication ad works department and other development departments to take special care for environment security at all the projects. Funds shod also be allocated for tree plantation during road and bridges construction projects.
He gave this direction at a briefing during his visit to Shuhada e Zehri Flyover and Koila Phatak here Wednesday.
Chief Minister said environment pollution, worst cleanliness situation wall chalking are some of the factors which have stained beauty of Quetta.
He directed Commissioner Quetta to accelerate measures underway in the city to improve health and cleanliness situation and water treatment plants are built should be activated immediately.
He also appealed to the citizens to realize their civic responsibilities and play their role in the improvement of city. He said legislation would be made for wall chalking so that action should be taken against them.
Chief Minister directed that flyover and Samungli road building projects should be completed till August 14, 2017. Prime Minister would be inhibited for inauguration of these projects.
He also directed for highlighting colours of provincial culture on the pillars of flyover.
Chief Minister directed for release of required funds for Samungli road projects.
He was informed that total cost of the project has been estimated at Rupees 1499.225 million provided by federal government, Ninty percent work on the project has been completed while Samungli road expansion project has been estimated at Rupees 2058 million work on which was continuing speedily.
Chief Minister directed that these projects should be completed till August 14 so that these would be inaugurated.
