QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has directed law enforcement agencies to ensure law and order situation in the province, ensuring security to life and p ropey of people and actions against anti social and terrorists elements.

He issued this directive while chairing a high level meeting on law and order at Chief Minister Secretariat here Tuesday.

Meeting viewed overall law and order situation of Quetta and other parts of Balochistan in detail.

Provincial Minister Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Chief Secretary Aurang Zeb Haq, Secretary Home Dr Akbar Harifal, Secretary S&GAD Qamar Masood, Additional IG Police Dr Mujeebur Rehman, Commissioner Quetta, DC Quetta and others also attended.

Meeting was also briefed on target killing incident of Kuchlak.

Meeting took important decision to improve prevailing law and order situation further and concerned institutions were directed to implement these decisions immediately.

Addressing Chief Minister said security to life and property is responsibility of government which would be fulfilled at every cost.

He said terrorists and extremists are menace of society which no efforts would be spared to take them to task. All the institutions should play their role for complete elimination of terrorism under a coordinated strategy.

He said security institutions sacrifices for establishing peace and praise worthy and these would not be allowed to go waste.

He assured that government would continue to providing resources o Police and Levies for training and other facilities and no pressure would be allowed on them.

Meeting also reviewed arrangements during Prime Minister’s visit to inauguration of Kachhi Canal and Sui and gave them final position.
