QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri taken notice of citizens’ difficulties due to non availability of petrol at the petrol pumps in view of strike of Oil Tankers Association.
Chief Minister has directed Commissioner Quetta Division to taking measures for ending strike by establishing immediate contact with Oil Tankers Association.
He has also directed for ensuring supply of petroleum products through petrol pumps with immediate effect.
Meanwhile shortage of petrol and diesel has once again become grave in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. People were facing great difficulties due to shortage of petrol and diesel while Iranian petrol as being sold in black. At the petrol pumps with stock fo petrol and diesel there were long queues of vehicles including, cars, rickshaws and others.
Petrol pumps owners whose tankers re loaded with petrol and diesel have reached Lak Pass Tunnel. But they were not making supply. It is also very dangerous that scores of oil tankers were parked at one place.
Petrol at the petrol pumps in Quetta was not available and people were facing difficulties. Mini pumps selling Iranian petrol have raised their prices and were selling petrol at Rupees 120 to 140 per litre.[related_post themes="text" id="318288"]
