CMCH’s 21 doctors, one chief pharmacist turn ghost


LARKANA: Twenty-one doctors and one chief pharmacist of Chandka Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Larkana turn ghost. Three sanitary workers have been removed from government service and pay of 17 sanitary workers, who have refused to work as sanitation staff, has been recommended to be stopped for which a letter to District Accounts Officer (DAO) Larkana has been sent.

The list of absentee doctors has been sent to Sindh health secretary for taking serious disciplinary action. These doctors include Gul Mohammad Baloch senior medical officer (BS-18) who is absent from duties with effect from 23rd December 2011, BS-17 medical officers Dr Vishambhar Lal who is absent since May 29, 2014, Dr Rashid Ahmed Soomro is absent since October 30, 2006, Dr Mohammad Mujtaba is absent since February 13, 2010, woman medical officer Dr Irum Majid Shaikh, Dr Sonia Bai absent since January 23, 2014, Dr Reena Kumari, Dr Rozina Begum is absent since 2009, Dr Saveeta Kumari absent since October 14, 2012, Dr. Sadia is absent from July 14, 2013, Registrar Dr Abdul Karim is absent since May 03, 2010, medical officer (BS-17) Dr Raja Rahoo is absent since July 20, 2011, Dr Mohammad Ismail is absent since January 19, 2010, Dr Abdul Ghani absent since May 11, 2010, Dr. Javed Iqbal is absenct since July 20, 2010, Dr Santosh Kumar is absenct since September 24, 2009, Dr Kanya Lal is absenct since April 18, 2012, Dr Sanaullah is absenct since July 13, 2015, Dr Khalil Ahmed is absenct since August 01, 2013, Dr Saima is absenct since September 30, 2013, SMO (BS-18) Dr Abdul Manan Bhutto is absenct since September 28, 2015, and chief pharmacist (BS-19) Mohammad Iqbal is absenct since June 28, 2013.

As many as 20 sanitary workers have also been found ghost out of which 17 are Muslims who have refused to work as sanitary workers for which the hospital administration has written a letter to DAO Larkana to stop their salaries. The sanitation staff who has been removed from service include Sanitary Hawaldar Maula Bux and Sanitary Workers Asia and Rubina, sources further disclosed to Reporters.
