KARACHI: Chief Secretary (CS) Sindh Mohammad Siddique Memon on Tuesday ordered to conduct an inquiry regarding 06-ADP Schemes of the Sindh Environment Department, reported as non-existing or beyond the existence, though an expenditure worth Rs.83.475 million has also been incurred on these 06 (six) ADP-Schemes.
In a meeting, chaired by the CS Sindh at his office, the Director General Monitoring & Evaluation disclosed that 06 development/ADP Schemes were initiated in 2013-14, but, as such no scheme exists on the ground, while till 2014-15 Rs.83.475 million have been incurred, to this effect.
Memon referred the case to the Chairman Anti-Corruption Establishment Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah to get an enquiry conducted over the matter and communicate the report within 15 days.
The meeting was attended by ACS (Dev.) Mohammad Waseem, Chairman ACE, Secretary Services Jamal Mustafa Syed and DG M&E.
