Islamabad: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has expressed disappointment over the conflicting remarks by PTI Chief Imran Khan on the Inquiry Commission’s report about elections 2013.
Speaking on a TV channel, he said the PML (N) and PTI had signed an MoU to accept the results on the polls inquiry.
The Minister said it is astonishing that on one hand Imran Khan is accepting the Commission’s report while on the other raising objections on it.
Ishaq Dar urged the PTI Chief to mend his style of politics being leader of a political party and stand by the agreement.
To a question, the Minister said the government is committed to address all the complaints about the functioning of Election Commission of Pakistan.
He said improving the existing electoral system is part of PML (N)’s manifesto and a Parliamentary Electoral Reforms Committee is already working on the subject.
