Death toll of Pakistani pilgrims in Mina soars to 76


ISLAMABAD: The number of Pakistani pilgrims martyred in the Saudi Hajj stampede has risen to 76 on Monday. A release from the Ministry of Religious Affairs said that 60 Pakistani pilgrims are still missing after the September 24 stampede near holy city of Makkah. Forty six other Pakistanis are still being hospitalized in Saudi Arabia while 40 have been discharged.

At least 29 martyred pilgrims were buried in Saudi Arabia whereas 306 Pakistani pilgrims have been traced so far.
