NAUNDERO: Citizens along with PPP-SB workers and local bodies election candidates continued a sit-in in front of Naundero police station on Thursday against the arrest of a primary teacher’s son on the charge of snatching a motorcycle from a man of Narejo community. The protesters were also joined by Jogi community people.
According to a report, cops forcibly entered the house of teacher Mohammed Moosa Jogi and arrested his young son Nadir Jogi over the allegation of snatching a motorcycle. On hearing this news, Jogi community people gathered outside Naundero police station, where they were also joined by PPP-SB workers and candidates of LB polls. It is reported that Jogis has parted ways with PPP and joined PPP-SB three days ago.
They held a protest demonstration and chanted slogans against the police highhandedness. SHO Dilli Jan Magsi held talks with PPP-SB Larkana District President Ghulam Hyder Narejo who is also candidate for chairman Municipality here and is contesting election on Ward No 3.
While talking to media, Narejo said that Jogi community had said good bye to PPP and joined Shaheed Bhutto who were led by Moosa Jogi due to which the local leaders of the opposite party became annoyed and got registered fake case against Nadir Jogi for which he appealed to Election Commission of Pakistan & District Returning Officer, Larkana, to take notice of it immediately and provide justice.
