ISLAMABAD: Vice Chief of Danish Defence Lt. Gen. Per Ludvigsen on Sunday said that the on-going Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan has dramatically reduced terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
In an interview during his four-day visit to Islamabad, he said the operation by Pakistan Armed Forces is highly commendable because it also promotes peace and security in other parts of the world.
He said the fight against extremism and terrorism will help Pakistan achieve the goals of poverty alleviation and enhanced foreign investment. The Danish general said Pakistan is a more stable country now than the past.
