District: Anti corruption police arrest three accused on charge of embezzlement


Abbottabad: Anti Corruption police Abbottabad has arrested three accused on the charges of embezzlement of government funds and receiving bribe from land owner for making fake entries in the revenue record. Those arrested includes Niaz Sub Engineer of C & W, Abdul Qadir, Clerk of District Health Office and Tahir Farooq Patwari.

Director Anti Corruption KPK Zaiullah Khan Touro on receipt of information’s deputed Assistant Director Mehmood Hussain and Circle Inspector Cadet Ejaz Khan for initial inquiry and found all the three guilty of embezzlement of funds and were arrested  by the Anti Corruption Abbottabd vide case No 4, under section 419,420 and 5 (2) pc Act.

According to details provided by the Cadet Ejaz, in year 2011. Land measuring 8 Kanal was purchased for the BHU in village Kole Paieen with the total cost of 37.5(M)  but scrutiny of record and physical verification shows that total 4 Kanal land exist while payment for 8 Kanal was made.

It all was done with consent of the DHO office clerk Abdul Qadir who was also arrested. In the 2ned case, Tahir Farooq Patwari has taken money for the Initiqal and despite taking payment from them, instead of commercial land; the rocky land was transferred in their name with wrong Khasra Numbers of the purchased land.

All the three will be produced before magistrate anti corruption for further interrogation says spokesman of the department.
