SIALKOT: Chief of Muslim League (J) Hamid Nasir Chatta has ruled out any possibility of midterm elections at present in the country, saying Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should avert axing his feet by making some immature political decisions.
He stated this while addressing the party workers at his residence near Wazirabad here on Sunday. He said new problems in different shapes were rising in the country due to huge and uncontrolled corruption in Zardari regime and even in Nawaz Sharif government as well.
He said capacity and performance of the government institutions could only be enhanced by deputing the competent and honest people on all the keys posts. This would be a major step which could never be taken by any single political party.
He said PTI Chairman Imran Khan would have to struggle hard for injecting new life and fresh blood in his nationwide anti-government move for toppling the government.
He said Imran should also try to get the support of the opposition parties against the government, otherwise PTI’s anti government campaign could never be result-oriented.
He said Pak Army’s ongoing anti terrorism operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ was meeting with great success, as the whole of Pakistani nations stood united against terrorism and was ready to sacrifice even their lives against terrorism for defending the motherland while fighting against terrorism shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces of Pakistan.
