Abbottabad: Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has said that this is the most appropriate time to re-calculate the mistakes of the past and set the barriers for the better future of the country to work in the limits define in the constitution of Pakistan for all segments of the society.
We should must abide by the Laws of the land and every one analyze himself for his acts without making interference in the matters of others and should not utilize their capabilities to remove mistakes of others but should concentrate on his own territory and limitations which are badly needed for the strengthen of the organs of the state, the media, the judiciary, the state and others.
This he said while addressing as chief guest at the oath taking ceremony of Abbottabad Press Club here on Monday. Ceremony was largely attended by Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi, MPA Aurangzeb Nulhota, MPA Amana Sardar, former provincial ministers, high ranking civil officials, representatives of traders, lawyers and journalists associations from Haripur, Manshera and Abbottabad.
Governor KPK said that currently, Triable areas of the country are in shambles position and are giving deserted look, residents of he areas are fleeing due to so many reasons but we had set our priorities to bring the country’s tribal belt at par with other parts of the country and had to utlise the capabilities of the most hard and tough peoples of the country who had long history of sacrifices for the country. Number of schemes and projects are imitated and in coming days more to come.
Governor said that billions of rupees projects has been initiated in different parts of the country by federal and provincial governments and will yield results shortly .he announced donation of Rs1 (m) for press club. Earlier newly elected president of Press Club Sardar Naveed Alam, president of Abbottabd Union of Journalist Naveed Ahmed, President of PFUJ, Afzal Butt and Raja Haroon spoke at the occasion.
Hamid Mir Day was also observed at press club which was addressed by the office bearers of the PFUJ, AUJ and other organizations. Speakers demanded the justice in the Hamid Mir issue and early arrest of the culprit’s invlvoded in murder attempt of Hamid Mir were demanded.
