District: (Second position holder boy vows to continue selling of fruits and continue his higher education)


SIALKOT: A Daska city based young fruit seller Ali Hamza(16), who clinched top second position in humanities group (boys) by securing 1003/1100 marks recently held annual matriculation exams under the auspices of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala, has vowed to continue his “profession” of selling fruits on a cart as usual in Daska city’s congested Chungi No.8 locality to feed his poor family , besides, continuing his higher education as well.

Talking to the newsmen at Daska here on Sunday he said that he had ever loved doing hard work besides loving selling the fruits, saying that he was fond of getting education but had not enough resources to get education in a good private educational institution. Thus, got study in a government school namely Govt. High School Daska.

He said that he had never felt ashamed of selling fruits, saying that it was his profession which was helping him to feed his poor family. He said that the fruit-selling on a cart had never created hurdle in the way getting education.

Ali Hamza added that he reached back Daska after getting his medal during a special ceremony held there in Gujranwala under the auspices of BISE Gujranwala. “After getting my medal and prize I came back straight to my cart, as I started selling fruits there with much proud, saying that I am proud of selling-fruits to feed my poor family”, he added.

He added that he had great responsibility of feeding his poor family on his shoulders, as his father was paralyzed and a mother, who is hear patient.

“I have ever served my parents without feeling any hesitation, thus Allah has rewarded me this prize that I clinched top second position in humanities group (boys) in recently held matriculation exams in Gujranwala Board”, he revealed.

“The prayers of my parents were always with me thus I consider myself as the richest person of the world”, he narrated. Ali Hamza wished to become an engineer in future with a sole aim to serve the nation and the country in a better way in future.

His family was much rejoiced as the people from all walks of life were reaching their home with sweets and gifts to greet Ali Hamza for his outstanding educational performance, in this regard. Meanwhile, Ejaz Ahmed senior head master of Govt. High School Daska has announced to host a prestigious welcoming ceremony in the honour of this school’s brilliant student Ali Hamza after the end of persisting summer vacations.
