Peshawar: Like other parts of the province, drive against illegal encroachments is also underway in Kohat and its surrounding areas under the direct supervision of Commissioner Kohat Division Syed Jamal-ud-Din Shah and Deputy Commissioner Cap:(R) Kamran Ahmad Afridi on special directives of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
After clearing the bazaars and main roads from illegal encroachments, the direction of campaign has been diverted towards Kotal Township Kohat and formally launched the campaign on Thursday under the supervision of Project Director KDA Najeeb-ur-Rahman Afridi and district administration. The Project Director has been asked to clear the township from all types of encroachments within 48 hours and submit its report to the administration.
It has been declared that the PTI led provincial government has zero tolerance towards encroachments in the entire province and committed not to accept any pressure or affiliation in this regard. The credit goes to the PTI government that has not only remove the illegal encroachments but also got possession of state land cleared from occupants.
The district administration has warned the illegal occupants to amicably remove their encroachments at the earliest otherwise be ready for action. The social circles has appreciated the efforts of PTI led provincial government in removing the encroachments and assured their all out support in this regard.
