ISLAMABAD: The Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) has completed nine thousand nine hundred and eighty two projects in earthquake 2005 affected areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a report, after earthquake 2005, ERRA was tasked to construct fourteen thousand five hundred and twelve damaged infrastructure projects in AJK and KP.
Besides, the Authority supervised reconstruction of six hundred thousand seismically safe residential houses in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It also imparted disaster risk reduction training to sixty-six different institutions and departments.
During the tenure of the present Government, ERRA completed four hundred and sixty-eight projects.
