KARACHI: Chief Executive, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), SM Muneer said on Monday that Pakistani exporters would concentrate on value addition due to which exports of Pakistan would be increased and employment to millions of people would be provided.
This he said while speaking at a lunch hosted by Turkash Canadian Chambers of Commerce here in a local hotel. President, Karachi Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain was also present.
He said that overseas Pakistanis could get benefit of friendly policies of the present government by investing in Pakistan. He said that law & order situation is comparatively better than the past and work is being carried out on new plans to reduce energy crises in the country.
“Government is aware of the issues of exporters and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his team will play active role to solve all these problems. We would work to increase the rate of GDP from 4% to 7%,” he added.
Zahid Hussain said that era of prosperity and development in Pakistan would be started for which Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif and his team are playing their active role.
He said that present government was cooperating with private sector for eliminating corruption as people are facing difficulties due to out-dated system.
