KARACHI: Six people, including a woman, were killed and two others injured in different firing incident in the city on Friday. According to police, a private school principal, Syed Farhan Shah, 45, son of Syed Mehmood, was killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire on his car near Goll Market in Nazimabad. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.
In another incident of firing, a 26-year-old man, Adil, son of Yousuf, was shot dead by unknown armed men in North Nazimabad. The body was shifted to ASH for postmortem examination.
Separately, a 30-year-old woman, Rubina, daughter of Afzal Kahn, was killed when unknown armed culprits opened fire on her near old truck stand in Mauripur area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.
Two men aged 35 and 40, were killed by unidentified armed men near Ijtimagah Road in Manghopir. The bodies were shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the victims could not be ascertained yet.
Sabir Ali, 40, was shot dead by unknown armed men near Baba Patt in troubled area of Lyari. The body was shifted to CHK for postmortem examination.
Separately, a 25-year-old man, Asif Muhammad, son of Fateh Muhammad, was shot and injured by unknown armed motorcyclists in Ranghiwara, Lyari. The injured was rushed to CHK for treatment.
A 40-year-old man, Ali Raza, son of Raza Muhammad, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men in Paposh Nagar, Nazimabad. The injured was shifted to ASH for treatment.
