Four banned outfit terrorists killed in police encounter
KARACHI: Karachi police on Saturday claimed to have killed four banned Al-Qaeda Sub-Continent’s terrorists during an encounter near Northern Bypass of the city.
On an intelligent report that an alleged terrorists were present at a house in Abbas Garh, a police team, led by SSP Rao Anwar, raided the house. “Seeing police, the terrorists opened fire on them. The police retaliated the fire in which four alleged terrorists including local Ameer of the banned outfit, Saeed Lohanda and Ibrahim, were killed on the spot,” the police said.
According to SSP Rao Anwar, the militants were affiliated with the banned Al-Qaeda in the Sub-Continent and were involved in attacks on Law Enforcement Agencies. The police also claimed to have recovered a hug cache of weapons from their house. The bodies were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.[related_post themes="text" id="321933"]
