Four killed, two injured in Karachi


KARACHI: Four people were killed and two others injured in separate incidents in the city on Tuesday.

The tortured body of one Sikandar Rizvi, 40, son of Murtaza, was found from Hub River Road in Baldia Town. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities.

In another incident, two women aged about 60 and 65-years old found dead near Nursery defence phase-6 DHA. The bodies were shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities. The motive behind killing could not be ascertained yet

Yet another incident, a man, Mohammad Ismail, 30, was gunned down and Mohammad Akbar, 40, son of Nayab, resident of DHA Phase-4 were shot and injured by unknown armed men near Khayaban-e-Badbaan DHA Phase-4. The body and injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). The motive behind killing could not be ascertained yet.

Yet in another incident, a man, Naseer, 40, son of Shah Mohammad, resident of Sohrab Goth, was shot and injured by unknown armed men near Johar Morr. He was shifted to JPMC for treatment.
