Four killed, two injured in violence


KARACHI: Four people were killed and two other injured in different violence incidents in the metropolis on Tuesday.

A man, Fazal Mohammad Khatak, 50, son of Gul Mohammad, was gunned down by unknown armed men at Swati Muhalla in Shairpao Colony, Landhi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.

Three days old body of a man, Qazi Husain Hashmi, 60, was recovered near Aqsa Masjid, Rasheedabad in Baldia Town. It was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

In another incident, an unknown man, aged about, 30, was killed by unknown gunmen in Ganna Mandi, Janjal Goth. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities.

The body of unknown man, aged about, 40, was recovered from Mai Kolachi Nullah. It was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

Yet in another incident, a boy, Mohammad Behroz, 20, son of Zafar Iqabal, was shot and injured by unknown armed men in Altaf Nagar, Orangi Town. He was rushed to ASH for treatment.

A youth, Hasan, 23, son of Abdullah, resident of Lyari, was shot and injured by unidentified armed men near Lyari Kamela stop. The bosy was brought to CHK for treatment.
