Four terrorists killed in police encounter in Karachi

KARACHI: Karachi police claimed to have killed four alleged terrorists during an encounter in Sachal area of the city on Monday.

On an intelligent report that an alleged terrorists were hiding in Sachal’s Quetta town, a police team raided the area. “Seeing police, the terrorists opened fire on them. The police retaliated the fire in which four alleged terrorists, including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan chief Mullah Fazlullah’s cousin, Khursheed, were killed on the spot,” police said.

According to SSP Rao Anwar, Khursheed has been involved in various incidents of terrorism, including the attack on education activist Malala Yousafzai and attacks on law enforcement personnel.

The bodies were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
