ISLAMABAD: The President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Zakaria Usman on Thursday warmly congratulated all the political leaders of Pakistan who were trying to defuse the political tension due to PTI’s dharna.
He further said that the incident of Army Public School, Peshawar has opened the eyes of the nation and political leaders as well. Now it’s the time to be united as a nation against the terrorism and Pak Army should be encouraged for successful operation against those who acted barbarically. He said that it is not only the duty of Pak Army but everyone has to play his role individually particularly the political leaders.
He said that all political leaders should join their hands with Pak Army to boost their morale and successfully fight with the terrorists till complete removal of terrorism from the country.
He urged the government to maintain political and economic stability so that Pakistan can grow economically with the aim to maximize the production and trading activities and to reduce un-employment.
He also appreciated the bold announcement of Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif about the implementation of death penalty to long awaited prisoners. He said that the act of reward and punishment is necessary for the system of check and balance in a society.
According to legal experts the situation of Pakistani society is different from the developed countries and we cannot afford delay or stop the punishment because eradication of crime is not possible without the stiff and exemplary penalties.
