QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Mohammad Khan Achakzai has said provincial population is small and scattered. Due to long distances there are several difficulties in development of the province. But present government was doing its best for development of province and providing necessary facilities to the people at their door steps.
He said this while speaking with British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew who called on him here Tuesday.
Governor told that there is dire need for cooperation for raising underground water level, providing health and education facilities to the people and improving professional skill of lawyers and providing them scholarship.
He said Pakistan and Britain have long history of friendly relation but there are bright chances to further expanding these relations.
British High Commissioner Thomas Drew said that his country is interested in providing cooperation in health and education sectors.
Governor also hosted lunch for British High Commissioner.[related_post themes="text" id="317502"]
