KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan on Thursday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of renowned Urdu drama writer Fatima Surayya Bajia.
In a condolence message, Dr Ibad said that Fatima Surayya had a distinct identity in a drama writing and she highlighted the social issues through TV dramas. The gulf created by her death could not be filled, Ibad said.
Fatima Surayya Bajia, a renowned drama writer of Pakistan, was passed away on Wednesday after a prolonged illness at the age of 86. She was a well-known personality in social welfare, literary field, television and stage.
