ISLAMABAD: Anti-Polio drive in 15 districts of Balochistan and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) will start today (Monday).
According to Balochistan provincial Coordinator Polio Emergency operation Centre Dr Saif-ur-Rehman, about 1.6 million children below the age of five year will be administered polio drops in the three days drive.
The districts including Quetta are, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Loralai, Khuzdar, Zhob, Sherani, Lasbela, Barkhan, Musa Khel, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi and Dera Bugti.
A four-day anti-polio drive in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and all Frontier Regions will also begin today (Monday). Nine hundred and eighty one thousand children below the age of five years will be administered anti-polio drops. All arrangements for security of polio teams have been finalized.
