Indian BSF continued firing on Pakistani border villages on Wednesday night


SIALKOT: The Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) on Thursday resorted to intensified firing on Pakistani border villages in Shakargarh sector of Sialkot Working Boundary.

According to senior officials of the Chenab Rangers in Sialkot, the Indian BSF again targeted civilian population in Sialkot border villages, besides creating a panic and harassment among the local people.

It was the first major ceasefire violation by Indian BSF of new year 2015, in which BSF brutally assassinated two Jawans of the Chenab Rangers on Zero Line after calling them to attend a flag meeting being hosted by Indian BSF officials in Shakargarh sector of Sialkot Working Boundary on Wednesday.

Indian BSF also continued unprovoked firing on Sialkot border villages in Shakargarh sector of Sialkot Working Boundary intermittently almost whole of the Wednesday night.

Several houses were reportedly damaged by Indian firing. However, no loss of life or injury was reported. The Chenab Rangers retaliated instantly by giving effective giving answer to the Indian BSF, which made the Indian guns silent.
