JPMC constitutes committee to probe bribe case
KARACHI: The Executive Director of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) has constituted a four-member enquiry committee to probe alleged bribe complaint against charge nurse of the healthcare facility.
Four-Member enquiry committee comprises on Prof Nadeem Rizvi (Chairman), Dr Yaha Khan Tunio (member), Dr Nousheen Rauf (member) and Mst. Shaheen Kausar (member). The meeting of committee would be held September 27, 2017 at Administration Block, JPMC to probe bribe case and report would be submitted to Executive Director, immediately.
A written complaint was filed by a Nazia Saleem, daughter of Muhammad Saleem Akhtar, resident of District Rahim Yar Khan of Punjab province against Charge Nurse, JPMC, Sahar Naaz, her brother Raza for taking money Rs110,000 from Saleem for admission of her daughter in the nursing institution.
The charge nurse failed to get admission for Nazia in the nursing institution despite taking money from them and asked the family that they will return their money within two months. The nurse and others also threatened the family of dire consequences if they approach law enforcement agency, JPMC administration and media for complaint.
The JPMC administration on complaint of the family formed a committee to probe the alleged bribe case.[related_post themes="text" id="321340"]
