KP govt spending Rs2.7b on development of forests

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is spending two point seven billion rupees on development of forests in the province.

According to Officials the projects to be carried out under the project include “Green Pakistan” a joint project of Federal and provincial governments for protection of wildlife.

Similarly, new saplings will be planted under Billion Tree Tsunami Afforestation project to expand forests area in the province.
