Late Ismail Jaffer CC enters in cricket tourney climax

Karachi: Khurram Shahzad played an impressive 74-run and helped Late Ismail Jaffer Cricket Club record 31-run win against Qasba Sports to reach the final of KCCA Zone VI ‘B’ Division League Cricket Tournament here at Afza Cricket Ground.

Late Ismail Jaffer Cricket Club batted first in the match and put on board 209 runs before losing all of their wickets in 34 overs. Khurram Shahzad batted well for the side scoring 74 runs with the help of seven boundaries. Faizan Khan (51 runs) also batted well for the side. Bilal-ur-Rehman bowled deadly and captured a five-wicket haul.

Qasba Sports in their turn scored 178 runs before being bundled out in 25.5 overs. Zaheer Ahmed (54 runs) and Mohammad Awais (51 runs) batted well for the side. Adnan Khatak captured four wickets while Usman Khan took three wickets to help Late Ismail Jaffar CC win the match and advance into the event’s final.
