KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$19,818.7 million on 23 October 2015. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:
Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at US$14,918.3 million; net foreign reserves held by banks remained US$4,900.4 million; and total liquid foreign reserves reached US$19,818.7 million.
During the week ending 23 October 2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves decreased by US$102 million to US$14,918 million, compared to US$15,020 million in the previous week. During the week, SBP made payments of US$123 million on account of external debt servicing and other official payments.
