Lord Baden Powell’s birthday celebrated in Pakistan

Karachi: Vice Provincial Commissioner PIA Mumtaz Ashan Zabari said on Tuesday that world Scouts is the name of struggle for the help of human beings.

This he said while speaking at the birthday anniversary of Lord Baden Powell celebrated at PIA Provincial Headquarters in Karachi.

Zubair said Scouts Movement gives the lesson of love, peace and friendship and we should spread the message of peace throughout the country. District commissioner Sheikh Afzal Noor, Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Tariq, District Secretary Shaid Waheed and others provincial and district officials welcomed the Scouts leaders. More than 40 millions Scouts from 160 countries are participating in birth-day ceremony.

According to Secretary Public Relations Syed Mehboob Qadri, 12 PIA headquarters have been established in all airports throughout the country, where hundreds of Scouts, girls, boys and Shaheen Scouts participated in different entertainment activities. In the last, the chief guest cut the birthday cake of Lord Baden Powell, while position holder Scouts were given certificates and shields.
