Minister: (Govt committed to election manifesto: Rashid)

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan will be made reality by 2018.

Addressing an expo on Social Sciences in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said sectarianism and hatred will be eliminated to achieve that objective.

He said the government is committed to fulfil its election manifesto and allocations for the education sector will be enhanced accordingly. He said we will give books and pens in the hands of the youth instead of arms and ammunition.

Later talking to the media persons, the Information Minister said all the state institutions are respectable to the government. The political opponents should refrain from issuing negative statements.
