ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that government wants to move forward on the path of progress and development of the country and for this purpose initiated numerous projects.
He was talking to newsmen after attending the Orange Festival in Taxila on Sunday. He said the present government launched development projects in such a large number which were not initiated in the last sixty-five years. He said some of the projects have been completed and work on other are continuing.
Referring to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s recent statement regarding National Accountability Bureau, the Minister said it was aimed to point out hurdles in the way of development.
He said the Prime Minister also talked about other regularities authorities which delayed the process of decision making and resultantly development projects are delayed. He said these authorities should work with the required speed.
