ISLAMABAD: In the wake of powerful earthquake that struck the country on Monday, Minister of State, Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD, Barrister Usman Ibrahim, on Tuesday directed the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) and Special Education and Social Welfare authorities to carry out a proper inspection of the educational institutions of the capital city being run by the CADD Division.
The minister further directed to carry out thorough inspection of the buildings, specially the class rooms of the educational institutions. Damages occurred due to earthquake should be promptly reported to the CADD, he said.
This direction was issued by the minister to prevent any untoward incident due to any possible damage to the buildings of the schools. Safety of the students is the top priority, the minister said.
