ISLAMABAD: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Mohammad Asif has said that Nandipur Power Project would soon be made operational after converting its oil treatment plant to liquefied natural gas.
Speaking at a private news channel, he said government has not taken over the Nandipur Power Project on technical ground. He said the government has no objection on any audit.
To a question, the minister said that daily loadshedding has been decreased from twelve to six hours. To another question regarding Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to the US, he said it would be a milestone in strengthening relations between the two countries.
