Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Syed Farrukh Mazhar on Wednesday appreciated the participation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as gesture of goodwill in oath taking ceremony of newly elected Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and said that a new era of prosperity and development would begin which would bring positive effect on the entire region and living standard of the people of both the countries would be improved.
In a statement, Muneer said that Sharif was looking confident during the meeting with his Indian counterpart and his visit to India had started melting the ice between both the countries.
He said that Pakistan and India could bring economic revolution and Trade could be increased between SAARC countries after establishing of good relationship between Pakistan and India.
He congratulated Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and said that importance of Pakistan in South Asia could not be ignored and Pakistan and India could jointly resolve the issues of poverty and unemployment of both the countries.
Muneer said: “Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, gives importance and priority to improve the relations between the neighbour countries and due to it he participated in oath taking ceremony and gave message to the world that Pakistan wants to resolve every issue by peace, love and devotion.”
He said that cooperation in different sectors would be increased in future due to meeting of both the leaders as people and businessmen of both the country wanted prosperity in Pakistan and India.
Zahid Hussain said that Pak-India relations would be improved while development would be increased in the region after the meeting of both of the prime ministers.
“Good relations between Pakistan and India are important for peace and development in South Asia and due to it Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken right step to visit India.”
Farrukh Mazhar said that by his visit, Nawaz Sharif had given clear message to India that Pakistan wanted peace in the region. “Peaceful relations between Pakistan and India are important for development of South Asia,” he said.
