ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has chalked out a 15-year plan to implement a roadmap aimed at mitigating human and economic losses in the country.
The plan was presented at a conference of all relevant federal and provincial stakeholders, the UN and other development partners here on Monday. It will be implemented in different phases.
In first phase, 39 most vulnerable districts will be covered within three years. In second phase 55 highly vulnerable districts will be covered from 2019 to 2022, while in the third phase remaining 63 districts including FATA will be covered.
