Nine killed in separate incidents


KARACHI: Nine people were killed in separate incidents across the city on Monday. Three bodies were found from Northern Bypass in Surjani Town. The bodies bore marks of torture and bullets. The victims were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

One person was killed and another injured when a wall collapsed in a house in Babar Market area of Landhi. The body and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for autopsy. Their identities were not yet ascertained.

According to rescue sources, three people were found dead in separate incidents due to excess consumption of drugs. Two of them died at Bashir Chowk in New Karachi while third one was found dead under Rexer Bridge. The identities of the three could not be ascertained yet. They were shifted to morgue after legal formalities.

Two people were drowned at sea view on Monday. The rescue services found their bodies on the sea side and shifted them to Jinnah Post graduate Medical Centre for autopsies. The identities of the men were not yet known.
