Peshawar: The Deputy Commissioner of Chitral Mr. Amin-ul-Haq has said that there will be no dishonesty in the relief activities being carried out in flood areas of district Chitral. He also cleared that the food items provided by the provincial government is being distributed by the Pak Army.
He said that the funds and aid materials provided by the provincial and federal government was being provided to the affectees by the full cooperation of Pakistan Army. He said this while talking to journalists in Chitral today. He said that land routes were closed due to land sliding, where relief activities were not possible without the cooperation of Army.
He said that the provincial government has released Rs. 14 crore to C & W, public Health Engineering, Irrigation and Frontier Works Organization and now the local government has sent the losses estimate of Rs. 14 crore to the provincial government which will be approved within few days.
He further said that apart from the ten trucks of relief goods of the provincial government seven trucks of relief goods have been arrived Dir lower adding that aid is being provided to the people of affected areas.
