Karachi: Pakistan has received US$1.05 billion under IMF three-year Extended Fund Facility, says the State Bank of Pakistan.

The IMF released these funds after the fourth and fifth reviews of Pakistan’s economic performance completed last week.

The conclusion of the review enabled the release of an amount equivalent to SDR 720 million (US$1.05 billion) which brought the total disbursements under the arrangement to SDR 2.2 billion (US$3.2 billion), says a SBP release.
