Karachi: Aiming to strengthen the overall domestic structure of Pakistan cricket, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Tuesday announced Ground, Illegal Bowling Action, Umpires Evaluation committees and match observers for different regions.
The Ground Committee comprise of Director Domestic Cricket Operations, GM. Domestic Cricket Operations, Chief Curator and Ejaz Faruqi, Member BoG.
The Illegal Bowling Action Committee consists of Iqbal Qasim, Member BoG, Muhammad Akram, Bowling Coach NCA, Mushtaq Ahmad, Spin Bowling Coach, Aleem Dar, ICC Elite Panel Umpire and Dr. Sohail Saleem, Sr. GM Sports Medicine. In case of non-availability of Aleem Dar, Ahsan Raza will be part of this committee.
The Umpires Evaluation Committee consists of Iqbal Qasim, Member BoG, Shakil Shaikh, Member BoG, Haroon Rashid, DGD, Saleem Babar, ICC Umpires Coach and Saqib Irfan, Manager UR and DCO.
PCB has announced match observers for the regions of Lahore, Karachi and Hyderabad, Multan and Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sargodha and Sialkot, Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Abbottabad.
The match observers are Azhar Khan for Lahore, Saleem Jaffer for Karachi and Hyderabad, Ijaz Ahmad (Sahiwal) for Multan and Bahawalpur, Naveed Latif for Faisalabad, Sargodha and Sialkot, Col.(R) Naushad Ali, Islamabad and Rawalpindi and Sarfraz Akhtar and Sajid Shah for Peshawar and Abbottabad.
